[SML] Dimmable LED lamps for house/work lights

Howdy Listers,

We’re hoping to get our facilities department to replace the LED lamps they put in (of course without consulting the theatre department…) the house/work lights in our black box theatre. This is the primary performance/classroom/rehearsal space for our department and used to have 300W mogul base lamps in the overhead fixtures. Once they couldn’t find 300s, they gave us 150W lamps and when they switched to LEDs, we got 18W lamps they gave even less useful light than the 150W incandescents.

I’ve found 25w dimmable LED PAR38s but if anyone has a lead on something brighter, I’d love to know about them. (I’d really like to go to actual house light fixtures, but I don’t think they’ll go for the expense of replacing the existing housings.)
