Speaking of motorcycle pads, the maker of the finest riding suits in the
world (Aerostich, of Duluth, MN) sell their knee pad inserts separately,
which could be cut down and sewn into a costume’s Pants or fashioned with
some elastic into a knee-worn device... Amazing stuff called T2F or
something like that, spongy-soft until it takes a hard impact, at which
time it solidifies into a lovely firm impact-resisting pad. I’ve worn T2F
padded riding pants for forty years and swear by them. No, they’re not
cheap. Neither is the Best of anything else.
