[SML] Making antique oats box- unroll picture of old box to print?

I haven't found a good way to stretch cylindrical labels back into a
printable form. What I usually do is grab the imagery from the labels and
stretch that as best I can, and then retype all the text in Photoshop (or
your preferred paint program). Then I blur/grunge/feather the layers
together so they read as one object. If you're lucky, you can find an Ebay
seller who's taken a ton of photos, which makes it a lot easier to rebuild.
It usually ends up being such a pain that building from near scratch is the
solution, though.

I've had some luck in the past searching on Google and Flickr for
"flattened X box" but a quick search today didn't turn up any oatmeal.

I've also been known to purchase the real vintage object and take it apart
to scan it.

But I'd love it if someone knew a simpler way.
