I agree, a stagehand saying hang the blacks, or kill the baby, or put the knife in the dog, isn't trying to be shocking.  They are phrases that we use and mean something specific, to us...  maybe we can't ever refer to the black masking curtains in shorthand because the music might get soft just as we say it, and people won't understand, or maybe we can hope that the normal people will see a group of slightly weird people, on a lunch break, and know that we are very unlikely to be planning a lynching.  Most likely they all have work related phrases that might be similarly confusing.Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device-------- Original message --------From: "C.
