[SML] Using ozone generators in a theatre

I would never run one in an occupied area. Early on I saw studies that said Ozone effectively killed the virus on surfaces. Since I have seen surface contact may have very little to do with the actual transmission of the virus. Our IT dept. has been using Ozone generators overnight in a closed space to treat iPads returned by students. It runs two hours and the space is not occupied for at least 8 hours after it has shut down.
