"Our dance studios see 4 or 5 classes a day and the dance faculty are wondering what we should be doing between classes to clean/sanitize the floors."

Okay, good question, our Dance Department has a similar issue...

"We've been having them dance in socks, which we spray with an 80/20 mixture of Lysol and contact cement."

Hol up a sec...

Oh, okay, nothing to see here. Hi, Don, happy to see you posting! For the love of everything, don't ever change. BTW, for maximum adhesion it’s best to apply the contact cement to both surfaces so you should be mopping with the Lysol/contact cement solution as well and letting it dry to tack-free before the start of the next class.

To the original poster: Your dance faculty are teaching 4 or 5 classes, in person, inside? What are the general precautions in place there? There's nothing like that here unless the numbers are very small, all masked, and sometimes held outside under a tent. Similar situation for our acting classes. We're following a staged system, where transition to the next less-restrictive stage is dependent on case numbers, state guidelines and date. Our winter and spring semesters' restrictions are still TBD.
