Matt,
In case what Kristi said isn't as clear as she meant it. You should use the Flamex PA as a primer coat on all surfaces of your set units and then paint your colors you need on your set.
Not just the back sides.

Yes - Flamex on all surfaces in the undercoat.

Hello all,

Just wondering if folks are adding Flamex PA when back painting flats and platforms, or maybe a different additive, or just using paint as is?

Thanks in advance for your responses.
Matt
