I Stand corrected... Evidently I'm old.  Gam Torches appear to be no more...
The torch pellets I can find... However, my google-fu is not bringing up anyone who sells the actual torches currently... So they may be discontinued.

Chauvet sells the Bob LED, and BOB Jr.  These aren't so much simulated torches, as they are simulated braziers.  It may be instructive to purchase one, just to see how it works.  Then you can see if you can make a battery operated one.

    Looking for a simulated torch for stage purposes. I've casually looked at building my own, but, am curious as to what is out there already made on the market or if someone knows of somebody who builds them and could give me contact info.
    And believe me there will be NO flame on this stage!
