I ran a venue from several years with a system that sounds similar to yours- the house LX will likely be fine without the inverter as they should normally be running off building power. The bigger concern is that the inverter is probably also backing up the Life Safety System and shutting it down could cause other problems. 
I had a similar issue and was required to bring in a firefighter to serve as Fire Watch during events while the inverter was disabled. 
If your venue/anticipated audience is small enough this may not be an issue, but I recommend checking with your local authority so they are at least aware of the situation.
