[SML] Traveler Track Noise

    Other than cleaning and lubricating per manufacturers directions. 
(Might be no lubrication)   Carefully examine the track for dents, 
dings, straightness both horizontally and vertically. Look inside the 
track before cleaning for signs of scrapes or chafing.      It's 
possible the drape is too heavy for the track and it is pulling it out 
of line between the hangers. Adding more hangers cures that.  Check the 
hangers, they might be squeezing the sides of the track in just enough 
to cause a squeak.

If you can find the manual, RTFM.
   I see you are an .edu address.   if you have a technical theater 
class, or a mechanical engineering class on campus, pose it to them as a 
classroom practitum and see if they can figure it out while you go 
"Hmmm.." a lot.
