Yep. Since 1939... A story as odd and interesting as the Leatherman
origin story.
Joe Gerber was originally in advertising, then somehow got a wild hair
up his [DELETED] to start a kitchen knife company. And the rest, as
they say (whoever They are), is an 85-year history.
