Hi John,

In 2019, I got a full time TD position in the DC area for about 63,000.
Salaries have definitely not kept up with inflation since then.  Sadly, I
think the offer you are seeing is in keeping with the other theatres in the
area, and no wonder that so many are struggling to find and keep good TDs.
I just saw Olney advertising for a TD with a range of 58-72k.

I don't know if the theatre will want to negotiate, but good TDs are hard
to find and they will really suffer without one, so you may have an
opportunity to negotiate in advance for more pay/more overhire/more
staffing.
