[SML] OT: networking through 20 conductor wire from '70s?

Having just dealt with some of this at work... the twists are important.
Ridiculously important to data reliability. And... the twist rates are
different in each pair, just to ensure that they don't crosstalk. HDMI
handshakes can't even happen without enough clean data, so the devices
won't even talk to each other. I had to swap out from cat5e for a vga run
to shielded cat6 (and shielded connectors) when we changed a 140' run to HDMI.
Could you use the 20c cable to pull the new bundle through, or did they
staple it in?
