Portland Playhouse in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Production Manager to take over immediately. Founded seven years ago, Portland Playhouse is a professional theatre company operating in a neighborhood setting in Northeast Portland. Having experienced unprecedented growth over the past seven seasons, Portland Playhouse now operates under a $1.1 million budget and produces a five-show season as well as a festival of Shakespeare and a fully integrated apprentice company. Performances operate under an SPT-6+ AEA agreement. 

Production Manager is in charge of all technical hires including designers, crew, stage management, facilities and over hire. Production Manager oversees production budget, deadlines, installation and removal of technical elements. Production Manager runs all design meetings and tech meetings. In coordination with the Artistic Director, the Production Manager is expected to provide solutions to theatrical challenges as well as provide long-range vision in the continued growth and organizational structure of the company. The Production Manager is charged with maintaining theatrical equipment in both functionality and industry standards. Portland Playhouse seeks to fill this position immediately.
