I must confess to being a trifle sceptical. Colour measurement and analisys
is quite difficult to do with any degree of accuracy and repeatability.

Over and above that, why would you need or want one? The final judgement is
mad by the human eye and the brain behind it. Speaking as an LD, if it
looks right, it is right. That is why normal colour vision is essential to
those who follow our trade. I remember one LD who used a gel of that funny
blue which is actually rather green fo a moonlight scene. I am sure that we
have all met it. It appears to be a good blue for a cyc, but is really a
disaster. But he thought it all right. Mind, he had red hair, which I
believe to be associated with abnormal colour vision.
