PRODUCTION STAFF – The Alley Theatre (LORT B and C) in Houston, TX is
completing a $46 million theatre renovation and expanding our season.
Seeking highly experienced and motivated staff for the following added
full time positions: Assistant Properties Master, Master Electrician,
Assistant Master Electrician, Light Board Operator/Electrician, Second
Wig Assistant, Wardrobe Assistant, First Hand, Lead Sound Engineer,

CREW HEAD/SHOW AUTOMATION OPERATOR – The nationally recognized Alley
Theatre (LORT B and C) in Houston, TX seeks experienced and creative
individual for the Crew Head/Show Automation Operator. The Alley
produces 14 plays per year in two spaces. Responsibilities include the
programming, operation, and maintenance of flying and deck automation,
and to act as a show crew lead on assigned shows. Candidates must have
minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Theatre, or equivalent
professional experience. Skills required include a working knowledge
of stage carpentry, stage rigging, and show control systems.
Familiarization with Navigator control systems and/or Creative Conners
Spikemark software is a plus. The renovated main stage space is being
equipped with a fully automated Tait/Stage Technologies rigging
system. Position is full time hourly, eligible for overtime and
