What green? Sodium has avery narrow output in the visible spectrum,
consisting of two lines at 589 and 589.6nM. That's all. High pressure
sodium lamps will show some broadening of these due to the higher
energy density of the discharge.

I believe that some HP sodium lamps may have a little mercury vapour
to get the discharge going, which would contribute both green and blue
components, but observation suggests that neon is more usual. I'll try
to catch the street light outside my house coming on.
