The Canon Powershot A1000 is a pocket(ish) sized point-n-shoot. I
don't think Steve has any lenses to adapt. :)

I don't really have anything to add to this thread though.... I was
never a fan of the P&S varieties, though I did buy my mom a Nikon
Coolpix S9300 a few years ago... picture quality is great.... has GPS,
16 megapixels, HD video recording, 18x optical zoom, very
pocket-able..... pretty sweet lil camera, although I'm not familiar
with the breadth and width of P&S cameras....
