Folks I find myself in a bit of a bind and I'm hoping someone can help.
We're gearing up for a production of "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" at
the high school I'm working at this year and part of the scene design
calls for several drops to slide along a piece of Unistrut using trolley
rollers like these (
http://www.unistrut.us/index.php?WP=show&GRP=Trolley ). Unfortunately,
the school doesn't have nearly enough in stock (or as many as they
thought) and when I checked the inventory about 20% of them were broken
or mangled. We need about sixty more rollers than we have, and at a bit
more than ten dollars apiece for the cheapest model that works out to a
significant chunk of our scenery budget.
Are there any cheaper alternatives we could look at? Alternately, and I
know this is a long shot, but does anyone have 60 trolley rollers that
they're not using that we could borrow or rent? I'd prefer model P2751
to match the ones the school already has but I know beggars can't be
choosers. The school is located in California in the Bay Area and of
course we'll pay shipping both directions. Even if you only have two or
three dozen available please let me know.
Thank you,
Harold
