[SML] tinkerbell lighting effect

Hi All,
 
I am researching various options for creating Tinkerbell with light for a  
production of Peter Pan in the round.  I wondered if anyone has any  
suggestions.  I am also curious how they did Tinkerbell's flight in  from over the 
audience in the opening of Finding Neverland should  someone have that 
information.
