[SML] 3D Printers? MakerBot Z18

In July of 2015, the faculty looked at three devices being considered as
equipment for our new building. The first choice was a CubePro but the
model would be too small for your requirements. Second choice was the
MakerBot Replicator but again it has limited volume. Third choice was a
Builder unit with a volume of 385mm x 370mm x 900mm (LxWxH). None were
actually ordered due to funding needs elsewhere in the project. The
consensus was reached by faculty from the production/design area of
theatre and the sculpture area of the Visual Arts program. This is
probably not much help to you, but it was our experience. Since then, the
Theatre folk have gotten a small 3D printer, but sadly I can't remember the
model. It would be too small for your requirements in any event.
