[SML] Theatre-in-the-Round Productions

Interesting thread. About 5 years ago, I saw a production of the Music Man
at Arena Stage. When we got the tickets, I couldn't wrap my head around
that show done ITR- but with Eugene Lee as the scene designer I had to see
it. It was a great show. They really stripped it back to the story but it
was still visually appealing.
I have spent most of the last 15 years working and designing in multi-form
spaces. I believe most shows can be done in most configurations. Some
require a lot more creativity on the part of the creative team than others.
Sometimes, making it work in a non-conventional arrangement is worht it,
sometimes it is not.
