[SML] E-programs instead of printed programs?

To follow up on my prior comment, QR code is the 2D code that is the most widely used in advertising.
There are a number of services online that will generate a code for you. Though, I am not clear if the link they create is somehow linked through their sight, or is a direct encoding of the web address you provide.  

QR code can do a variable number of characters.  For example the version called Module 2, with its 25x25 matrix, and at a low level of error correction, can provide 47 alpha-numeric characters.
