Not at all late. I am still researching the possibilities and hopefully some
rough costs for the various solutions.

Thanks for the link. I will take a look at the products available.

Ideally, the power heads and beam would be above the auditorium ceiling - but
I don't know if that will be possible. There is not any structural steel, all
the beams are wood, many of them possibly from around 1910 or so.

The dimmer circuits currently terminate in twist lock outlets boxes fastened
to the ceiling close to the electrical pipes. If we go the flying pipe route,
we will need to redo the feeds and install some sort of cable management.

I would like to see the high trim for the electrics (whether pipe or truss) to
be within 1 foot of the ceiling.
