[SML] Cataract Lens selection

have had both lenses replaced for cataracts, my doctor explained several
options on foucus legenth. advising some patients opted for close focus in
one eye and far in the other. I went for a closer focus on both eyes. now I
can read the bottom line in the eye chart..  some times I get a shadow when
light hits the edge of the lens inplant.  in some conditions I can see well
but have trouble seing details like surface mount components. a simple
magnifier helps

after surgery take care of the eyes so the heal properly.. expect to be
more sensitive to bright head lights and flashing signage.  good luck
