[SML] Android FTP

I've tried two different FTP clients on my 'droid and with both they say
they log in and authenticate fine, but then say the folder is empty. 
When I log in to the same place with Filazilla from Linux, I see
gigabytes worth of stuff.

Any ideas? 

Besides "don't use the Android for FTP"?
