[SML] A&H SQ series board users out there? Riddle me this....

So we've taken delivery of our new Allen & Heath SQ7 to replace our
previous board that went up in flames.... starting to wrap my head
around how it works, but here's something that is darn necessary for
us theatre people: a center/mono output! (You know, for the talking
and the singing stuff.)

So, as best as I can tell, I have to sacrifice a "mix" or "aux" or
whatever they call it (they go back and forth in documentation,
videos, etc - drives me nuts).... and route that to our Mono/C
amps/line arrays. Everything defaults to MainLR otherwise.

Anyone using an SQ series board, and use a mono/c speaker? How do you do it?

Every board I've ever used had dedicated Stereo/LR and Mono/C button
that made it possible to assign each input to either (or both, or
neither). The SQ board seems to make me go to two places to do that -
Routing, then find the input, then UNassign it from MainLR, ASSIGN it
to my Mono/C "mix", then go back to the surface, bring up Mix 4 (now
Mono) - and set my level. This all seems super slow, unnecessary, and
prone to missing something, especially if you're setting up a couple
dozen wireless mics. (I need to learn how to teach this board to
students, so I want best practices, not band-aids.)

Thoughts? Experiences?

 - Jon
