Movers are a really different animal from conventionals.  MagicQ has some
very nice training video series on YouTube - just 10 min each or so - which
takes you thru the basics of setting up and using movers.  It's specific to
their console of course, but will give you a very good basic understanding
of programming and using lights w/ lots of parameters.  And it goes down
real easy... you'll learn a lot in just an hour or two.

I'm sure the other manufactures have similar training videos online - it's
a great place to start, I've found.
