[SML] TD salary range/staffing logistics/advice

Just to jump on the bandwagon here seems low. I’ve always been kinda amazed
at how low DC theaters pay their staff though. The best job posting I saw
was a Technical Director at a private school in dc for 100k per year. On
the flip side I’ve seen local big name theaters pay their ATDs and TDs
50-65k, so there is a range. What I am always amazed by is that cost of
living does not seem to be a thing in the theater world. There are TDs in
Kansas City that make the same as TDs in DC.
