With snow, the conditions on roads in the Northeast improve as one goes
north. In Maine, they deal with snowfall very well. I went to college in
the state, albeit 50 years ago. Massachusetts, where I was born, was
decent. New Jersey, where I now live, does not do a great job with snow
removal. The governor usually declares a state of emergency. Pennsylvania
is no better.
